Because Christmas is such a special and important time for our family,
we wanted to share with you some of our photos from Christmas 1999:

We jumpstart the season each year when our granddaughter, Brenna spends Thanksgiving weekend with us.

"Glitter" is the name of the game for Brenna, applying it to ornaments and cookies with a flourish.

The family always gathers at our house on Christmas Eve:

Santa didn't bring any front teeth
but that wasn't an impediment
to chevre on a cracker.

Grandpa helps Brenna
open her presents.

The party continues a few days after Christmas at Great-Grandmother's house:

Robert & Kyung Jin Robert & Kyung Jin open gifts
while Brenna contemplates
the old family Nativity Set.
Callie and Brenna share
a peppermint moment
while Patrick is overjoyed
to inherit the old family
chafing dish.
And on to Christmas 2000:
Brenna put her Thanksgiving
weekend to good use, shopping
for and wrapping all her gifts.
