of Dixie Mini-Nubians
| We are Vencil and Susan Selvage, proud owners of a small, 15-acre farm snuggled in a beautiful valley in southwest Virginia, about 35 miles southwest of Roanoke. Along with various farm animals, including
dogs, cats, guineas, and chickens, we have registered Nubian and Mini-Nubian goats.

for a spot on the waiting list! The next generation of babies should be due late spring, early summer 2008. We are using a lovely blue-eyed second generation buck, so most of our babies will be third generation.

Garrett
|
The Mini-Nubian is a breed which is the product of a cross between Nigerian Dwarf and Nubian. The grandsire, Garrett, was a gorgeous cream-colored Nigerian Dwarf with the greatest temperament. He would let small children ride him. He was unfortunately lost during Hurricane Isabel, but his children live on. |
| In 2002, our first-generation girls were born. We called them the four "Golden Girls". Their offspring have continued to produce lovely animals.

And last but certainly not least, at left is our little Hobbit,
grandson Asa Victor Stevens, born August 24, 2003. He is the son
of Susan's son Glen and his wife, Rebecca.
Asa has a new little sister born December 10, 2007. Her name is
Ursula and we are very happy to have her added to the family.
